Luxuskörperpflege von Ligne St. Barth fühlt sich toll an, dieses Roucou Tanning Oil SPF 6 ist keine Ausnahme. Das Körperöl hat einen kleinen Lichtschutzfaktor und soll für schöne Bräune sorgen. Aber was ist tatsächlich drin? Lohnt sich der Kauf?

Luxuskörperöl von Ligne St. Barth Roucou Oil
R Roucou Oil von Ligne St. Barth ist ein Luxusöl für Haut und Haare. Das ist das erste Produkt der Marke in meinem Besitz und fürs Kennenlernen habe ich mich für die praktische Reisegröße entschieden.
Das reine Roucou Öl wird aus den intensiv roten Früchten eines Strauchs gewonnen und hat daher seine schöne feurige Farbe. Dieses wertvolle Öl gilt als Wundermittel für Haare und Haut, da es ein natürliches Sonnenschutzmittel ist (allerdings ein ziemlich schwaches), was in der tropischen Heimat der Pflanze eine sehr nützliche Eigenschaft ist.
Soweit so gut. Besitzt auch das Öl von Ligne St. Barth dieselben Eigenschaften? Schwer zu sagen, da das eigentliche Roucou Öl im Produkt auf Platz 7 (Bixa orellana, aber wer kennt schon den lateinischen Namen solch exotischer Pflanzen?) der Inhaltsliste steht, hinter Parfüm. Ist also nur in einer sehr geringen Alibi-Menge vorhanden.
Für meinen Geschmack ist im Roucou Oil von Ligne St. Barth zu wenig Roucou um den Preis zu rechtfertigen
Ich finde daher die Namensgebung irreführend. Die Hauptbestandteile sind Maiskeimöl, Kokosöl und Mandelöl. Auch nicht schlecht, aber bei weitem nicht so schön exotisch, wie der Name anmutet. Sehr schade, dass eine Marke, die so viel Geld für ihre Mittel haben will, bei den Hauptinhaltsstoffen so spart.
Nichtsdestotrotz ist es ein schönes Körperöl, das sich angenehm anfühlt, schnell einzieht, und fabelhaft zart nach weißen Blüten (Maiglöckchen?) duftet. Nur darf man sich beim Auftragen nicht vormachen, man erlebe die wahre Wirkung von Roucou. Davon ist im Öl eine zu geringe Menge enthalten.
Wie ihr sieht, habe ich hier gemischte Gefühle. Einerseits ist es ohne Frage qualitativ und ästhetisch solide und angenehme Körperpflege. Andererseits fühle ich mich unwohl, wenn eine Luxusmarke hauptsächlich Image verkauft, bei den Inhaltsstoffen trickst und Konsumenten auf eine zwar sanfte und harmlose Art und Weise, aber doch für dumm verkauft.
Falls ihr das Öl probieren möchtet, ist es online sehr leicht zu finden. Zum Beispiel auf bei Delfi Parfümerie in Berlin oder online bei Essenza Nobile und ausliebezurhaut.de.
Das Roucou Oil Ligne St. Barth fühlt sich auf der Haut sehr gut an
Kennt ihr Ligne St. Barth? Würdet ihr 68€ für 200 ml Maiskeimöl-Mix ausgeben? Ich vermutlich nicht mehr. Aber ich wäre keine Beautybloggerin, wenn ich einfach so aufgeben würde. Vielleicht hat die Marke ja andere Produkte, die mich überzeugen können. The future will show!
Update: Nachdem ich das Roucou Oil noch mal getestet habe, bleibe ich bei meiner Meinung, dass es zwar ein luxuriöses Körperöl ist, aber Roucou im Namen eher in die Irre über die Beschaffenheit des Produktes führt. Andererseits habe ich herausgefunden, dass es in meinem Bekanntenkreis echte Fans dieses Öls gibt, die auf seine Bräune-Booster-Qualität setzten. Also am besten selber ausprobieren!

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I appreciate your company giving feedback. I understand that Roucou seed cannot be main ingredient. It would probably make the product prohibitively expensive and also difficult to use because of strong coloring properties of the seeds. However, from everything I know about cosmetic chemistry I still consider the name “Roucou” on the front label for a product with such a tiny amount of ingredient if not legally wrong, then misleading from the common sense point of view. I would love to be proven wrong (and would be happy to write a new post correcting my previous opinion). Could you maybe provide more detailed information about the actual concentration of roucou seed in the product? That said, I did not dislike the oil, it is indeed a pleasure to use.
